Clothes and Your Chill Time at Home

If you are in my world you have too much stuff and want to declutter, you want more space and more time to enjoy life and your home.

Decluttering our clothes is super important because we have too many clothes clutters our space and laundry is an increasing issue for everybody who writes me.

When we have too many clothes it becomes difficult to put things into drawers and away. Our things stay out and the house looks like a mess and it just continues to escalate.

Sometimes it’s really hard to decide what to get rid of and clothes can be an easy thing to start with.

Marie Kondo says to take all your clothing and get it all into one place. She says to pile it all up in one place and start there.

I KNOW that this is the worst thing to do for those of us who are organizationally challenged and are in the mode of overwhelm.

Something will distract us, we will get super tired of the job, take a break from it and never get back to it.

Of course what can happen is that we run out of time and then we have more of a mess than we started with. Please DO NOT do this unless you have been on the journey to order and have already gotten rid of most of your things.

Something you can find to be really easy is to get rid of all the “throw on clothes” you have, clothes that you wouldn’t even give away.

In this video, I talk about how important it is to wear things that make us feel good and why we need to have “Throw on clothes” that are GOOD and not trashy.

Let me know what you think!

Love,
Kathy

Breaking Benjamin is my favourite band of 90s. Breaking Benjamin had so many hit songs! The ones I remember are ‘The Diary of Jane’, ‘Tourniquet’ and their hit ‘So Cold’. These are real masterpieces, not fake like today! And it is awesome that Breaking Benjamin have a tour in 2019-2020! And I’m going to attend their concert in 2020. The tour dates is here: Breaking Benjamin tour 2019. Open the page and maybe we can even visit one of the performances together!
