Tip # 4 & 5 Wake up earlier and Shower Groom & Dress Before Anything

We are going to talk about getting up a little earlier than you do now.

We like our sleep, but this new habit is absolutely necessary. I’m asking you to trust me that this is essential in reaching your goal to live an organized life.

It will make a real great difference in your life if you employ it.

Get up 1/2 hour before you actually HAVE TO.. If you wake up at 7:00 in the morning and you leave the house at 8, than you wake up at 6:30 now.

If you work from home and your feet hit the floor at 8:00 and you start working at 8:30, you must get up at 7:30 now.

If you are a stay at home parent you need to wake up a half hour before the mainstream of the family.

Another habit to incorporate with this one is to shower, groom and dress before anything.

EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT LEAVING THE HOUSE.

O.G.Ps (Organizationally Gifted People) wouldn’t even think of not getting themselves to- gether for the day, even if they are staying at home.

Weekends, sleep till you want too, BUT, SHOWER, GROOM, AND DRESS, BEFORE ANYTHING, even on weekends.

Begin to employ these two new habits and you will NOT miss the extra 30 minutes of sleep. I promise. You will thank me for asking you to try this and You’ll be amazed by how things change in your world. Really you will!

Much Love to you!

Yes. Waking up without rush is the only way to go. And I allow time to spare in my commute. I have a light that flashes instead of an alarm. So nice not to have to jump up and stop the noise. Good start to the day.

I agree with most of this; except that I shower and groom after I go to the gym. 🙂 Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions. I am definitely working on implementing them.

Hi Granny! I know it is hard to get others to do what we need them to do. It has to start with you. When you get a handle on you, you will then be able to communicate to them. How about you give me a call? 201-290-4549 are you in the US?

I am retired, and babysit two days outside of my home. I give myself too much slack on the days following babysitting. I definitely could use some structure and accountability.

Hi Sharon, I get it! We get an idea about how things are and we convince ourselves of what we can do or can’t. And what we say to ourselves is what we do or don’t do.
