Decluttering Storage Boxes: Find out about ‘Gorgeous Chaos’

The journey towards a clutter-free space often starts with acknowledging the mixed feelings associated with sorting through memories and accumulated items we, at one time thought we wanted to keep and know we need to revisit.

In my latest video, I delve deep into the ‘Gorgeous Chaos’ that is home organization. Just as beginning a new fitness routine might present initial challenges, diving into decluttering has its own set of hurdles. However, with the right strategies and mindset, it becomes not just manageable, but truly transformative.

Here are some guiding steps to aid you in your decluttering journey:

• Embrace the Initial Chaos: Understand that the first steps will probably be the hardest, but it’s an essential part of the journey to a decluttered space.
• Tackle One Box at a Time:  By addressing one box at a time, you make the process more manageable and less overwhelming.
  • • • Just look at one item at a time and ask yourself these questions:
        Do I want this?
        Do I need this?
        Do I like this?
        • Streamlined Sorting: Have a clear system in place. Separate items into categories like ‘keep,’ ‘donate,’ and ‘discard’  and do what needs to be done with each item. One at a time.
