In this video, I explain how I keep my house tidy. You can do this too, it’s so easy.
I think every born organized person thinks this is so KNOWN that nobody told us.
The phrase “A place for everything and everything in its place” was something that haunted me. It made me feel inadequate not empowered. It was just a reminder to me about what I WASN’T DOING and not that it was a lesson, that we needed to CREATE SPACES for things and that is how we can stay neat and organized.
In the video, I walk around the house and show you where I have these places.
Lisa Brown commented on Youtube with this phrase to call the places I create as: “Bota-Boom Baskets!” LOL (You’ll see what I mean when you watch the video)
There are some tricks and shifts we can use to change the messy spaces radically and simpler than we ever believed.

I have watched your videos for a few years now my biggest problem is sentimental items anything from a pretty card to close of my children I don’t know why I can’t make time to organize it or why I have so much attachment to the items I have given some stuff away but I obviously have too many things and too many dreams of doing something with the too many things my house otherwise is clean and things have its place, can you help me?
Forgive the late reply Angela, I didn’t see this until now.
You know Angela sometimes it’s fine to keep what we want to keep if you can make room for it, if you can make a space for it all, even if it’s not “Organized” so what. Who is it hurting? If you want to make it organized and categorized I recommend putting it on your calendar to take time for it. You can make it a social occasion and invite a friend or family member over with their things and maybe some organizing boxes for such things and have a little party of it. Or you can just do it at a specific time of day every week for a specific amount of time. Even 15 minutes at a time will make a difference. Did this help? Please get back to me!
