If you’ve seen my recent update video on YouTube, you know I’ve announced I’d be stepping away from running The Tidy Tutor as a business—shutting down the tech, the sales, and all the moving parts. I said I’d be keeping the YouTube channel up, simplifying, and taking things one step at a time as I follow what I believe God is asking me to do.

Why I’m Sharing This Podcast Episode

What I’m sharing today comes from my passion project “What Does God Say to You?” It is a podcast. I recorded it right after I felt led to make those big changes in The Tidy Tutor.

Since then, I’ve learned more—and I’ve been wrestling with how to carry it out. I’ve caught myself slipping back into old patterns with The Tidy Tutor—not from a clear calling, but out of habit, a sense of duty, a little fear and impatience.

As I mention in this video, it became clear as I began to obey that The Tidy Tutor is part of my ministry—but figuring out how to navigate it all is still a challenge.

The Tidy Tutor, Ministry, and Faith-Led Decisions

I thought the best thing to do was to share that podcast with you where I talk about this change and calling. I’m inviting you to join me in this: You might be interested in my other podcast (not yet on YouTube as of this recording, but I’m working on it).

To keep you in the loop, as it explains a lot of what’s been happening.

I don’t know exactly how to invite you to be a part of this journey—obeying God one step at a time, even when it doesn’t make sense—but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Here’s that episode. I hope it brings clarity to you regarding what’s going on with The Tidy Tutor—and maybe for your own life too.

Practical Help + Faith Journey

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know The Tidy Tutor has always been about more than just decluttering tips. It’s about creating a home that supports your life and allows you to be who you were meant to be and do what you want to do!

My “What Does God Say to You?” podcast is a separate space where I talk about God’s Word, share faith-led experiences, and walk through what it looks like to live out a calling step by step. Both are part of my ministry, but each has its own focus and I’m so thankful you are with me for this journey!
