We recently concluded a 5-day challenge on creating and sticking to a daily routine. CLICK HERE to check it out.
After it was over I did a webinar on something called the Dunning-Kruger effect… I know, lol… I never heard of it either.
It is an explanation of why, when we start something, all motivated and convinced that this time it’s going to be different we fall off track and then can’t get ourselves back on it again.
In the video, I break down this phenomenon and talk about the solution to the problem.
There comes a time if you stick to something that you reach what is called “The Slope of Enlightenment.” No more ups and downs, but not a smooth flat road, instead it’s a steady climb of progress. It becomes acceptable and even enjoyable.
Each time we reach one level when we fall down a bit, we fall down higher than we were before.
I hope you’ll watch the video, get inspiration and motivation and let me know what you think!
And By the Way! Tidy Tutor University will open up on January 3rd. It will be updated and new. Right now there is a waitlist. CLICK HERE to get on the list to find out all the details!
If you would like to get on the Waitlist to be a part of the New TIdy Tutor University Course CLICK HERE
Thank you, Kathy, so much for this video. I realize every plateau serves a purpose; it gives me strength to finish no matter how hard it is because it’s something I want and need. If we didn’t struggle it would be like having everything handed to me and I would take it for granted; always getting into the same predicament. That’s why I am where I am.
Just do it…Touch is once….Put it away….are now my mottos. You will never know how much you have touched my life.
Yes, this is enlightening and encouraging. Thank you!
